Application
Python · Streamlit · Snowflake
Built for UCSB · In final approval stages
Employees assemble monthly project allocations. Managers review the request, adjust entries, and record a decision.
Why this is a recreation The original application contains confidential university employee and project data, so I cannot publish the live application or its actual records. This version demonstrates the workflow with sample names and invented allocations; none represent real employee activity.

Your allocation request
Percent of each employee’s time spent on this project, by month.

My contribution & engineering context +
I built the application around existing employee and project databases. The workflow supports saved drafts, monthly entries, manager notes, and revisiting declined requests. The original implementation uses Streamlit and Snowpark; this browser recreation demonstrates the workflow using fictional data.
Jira & Confluence
Access Review
Python · Atlassian API · CSV
Separate review for each product
Choose accounts, then simulate the final activity recheck. No real access changes occur.
View the collected report fields +
The supplied CSV informs this report’s structure. All values and identifiers are invented. Downloads include account status, membership, timestamps, product and group information.
How the workflow protects active access +
Jira and Confluence are evaluated independently. The script prepares review lists, rechecks activity, and removes the relevant product group membership. Alex’s synthetic record illustrates a user becoming active after the report, so the final recheck preserves access.
The described policy is seven months; the supplied script is configured to five. Both thresholds can be explored here. Missing timestamps are held for review in this recreation.
CITRAL Research
Presentation
R · R Markdown · UCSB CITRAL

Exploring how data science is represented in biology curricula. I wrote the R script and collaborated with Nate on the broader research project.
Presentation photographs are shown here; the slide deck has not yet been supplied.

A technical mindset.
An economic perspective.
I study Statistics and Data Science alongside Economics at UC Santa Barbara. I’m interested in the full path from collecting data to building a tool that someone can use.
My work spans internal applications, access-management automation, research, and analytics. I’m seeking Summer 2027 internships in data engineering, data analysis, and software engineering.
